Erik O. Thompson

Erik Thompson is the Founder and President of Peerless Wealth, a fee-only Registered Investment Advisory firm focused on helping individuals and families manage and grow their wealth through disciplined, tax-efficient investment strategies. He works primarily with individuals and families seeking thoughtful portfolio management and long-term financial guidance.

 

With more than 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, Erik specializes in combining low-cost index investing, best-in-class active strategies, and options-based income strategies designed to enhance portfolio income while managing market volatility.

 

In addition to advising clients, Erik is the co-portfolio manager of the Peerless Option Income Wheel ETF (NYSE: WEEL), a unique option-income strategy launched in partnership with Tidal Financial Group. The ETF utilizes a systematic options approach designed to generate high current income with meaningfully less volatility than a typical equity-oriented strategy.

 

Erik began his career in financial services in 1998 and has spent more than two decades advising clients and managing investment portfolios. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Miami University and was recognized as one of the Top 40 Under 40 Independent Advisors by WealthManagement.com.

Outside of work, Erik enjoys spending time with his wife, Stephanie, and their two sons, Sawyer and Beckett. Sawyer is an elite youth hockey player recently drafted by the Green Bay Gamblers of the USHL for the 2026–2027 season, while Beckett enjoys baseball and basketball. Erik is also an avid golfer and a member of Scioto Reserve and Kinsale Country Clubs.
